Spoiler alert - Weird Comics – Farrel Press 1966 An ugly nasty anonymouly penned revenge tale in more ways than one, as it harks back to the real Grand Guignol shock horror era. The basic moral is obvious – never have an affair if your partner is also your cosmetic plastic surgeon. The lady in this story makes that mistake until the couple are caught by the deranged medic. He doesn’t kill them but renders them so ugly that they could only ever love each other ever after. Grim doesn’t sum it up well enough. Arthur Chappell
