I witnessed (or became a witness for) a slip and fall last night

I went to Walmart to do some grocery shopping last night. While I was there and headed to the dairy section, I heard a cry and a thud. I looked down the aisle and saw a woman lying on the floor. A man at the opposite end was asking if she was OK. I was closer, so I went down to her. She was trying to get upright, but it was difficult because she was on top of a jug of water she'd dropped.
The first thing I thought was she'd had a medical issue and dropped the jug which split, but when I moved it, it wasn't broken or leaking. That's when I realized she'd fallen in the water that was on the floor.
She was elderly, but I didn't want to try to lift her up because 1) it's not a good idea if she's injured and 2) I'd probably also be injured trying since I also have disabilities.
I did help her sit upright and kept my leg behind her back to make sure she didn't fall backwards to the concrete - I wasn't sure how stable she was.
Several people came and wanted to help her stand, but other than feeling bad that she was sitting in this puddle of water, I didn't think it was a good idea. If something happened, it would make things worse. And, if she was injured, it could make the injury worse.
Employees came over and were discussing what to do and sent someone to go get a manager and to call an ambulance. Once her daughter got there, I made sure all was well and continued shopping. Coming down the other way, I swung by to see how she was doing and was asked if I could fill out paperwork as a witness. No problem. I made sure I let them know that I hadn't seen her actually fall, but had heard her cry out and heard the thud. The person who may have seen her fall had already left after trying to find an employee to come help.
All of this took a while, so a text came into my phone asking where I was and why I was taking so long. I had borrowed my daughter's car. I told her I was on my way home then.
Naturally, I forgot to grab some of the things that were next on my mental list, but I'll live. I can get them later. I only thought about her and how I'd feel if it were me hurt and how I felt when it was my own mother who fell.
Today, their corporate offices called me to have me go over the events again. They really got on top of this. I hope the woman is OK and that everything goes well for everyone.

wow, I smashed my finger in Wal-Mart. It got caught between the top of the carriage handle and the underside of the pointy freezer door handle. I was forced to walk my carriage this close to the doors because they had workers that dropped their pallets of stuff to load into the freezers right in the middle of the aisle. and one side had more room to go by but the worker was standing in that side talking on his phone.. I had to squeeze my carriage through on the other side and my carriage handle jammed under the door handle and was stuck there with my finger in between them I had To pull it out with out loudly screaming... I looked down and my finger was instantly black where the point of the door handle had jammed into it.
I could barely move that finger for days or feel it completely for weeks, the nerves had been smashed. I have a bump under the skin that is still there today. but has finally shrunk down and it has been 6 months since this has happened.
I went up and told the people at the desk about my injury, the manager came down and asked questions. but I never had anyone - form the store or corporate call to apologize or ask question or anything.
