One of my favorite old school comedians Don Rickles passed away from kidney failure at the age of 90 years of age in his home in Los Angeles California. Rickles was known for using insults as part of his comedy act in nightclub comedy theaters before he met the late singer Frank Sinatra in 1959. Rickles starred in television and movie appearances during his career in show business. Don will be missed by his fans who enjoyed being called "Hockey pucks" as part of his comedy routine. My memory of Don being on television was his television called "CPO Sharkey" which was about the U S Navy.

My late dad introduced me to the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Don will be missed beyond words.

Don's Hockey Puck comment is mild compared to the late Redd Foxx saying "You big dummy" in Sanford and Son.
