I would say it is a mental problem. The right medications in the right amounts help control this disease so it is not a spiritual disorder.

Mark, Bipolar Disorder is a chemical imbalance in your brain. You can be manic or you can be depressed. Therapy and medication can help prevent those episodes. It can be hereditary too.

There's no such spiritual disorder. Disorders are mind's condition. Bipolar is a changing of mood. We don't know when this to attack. It could be vital or are just annoying. There's prescription if you will go to therapist. It will take years of medication before it calms down
