Music War Rematch

One night,  my girlfriend and I accidentally made up a game called "Music War." We have insanely differing tastes in music, so we play music for each other. Eventually, one of us "wins," usually by playing something unexpected or "out of character." Since I lost earlier this week, I wanted a rematch. And today, I got one. Her sample: "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood, "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton, "The Night the Lights went Out in Georgia" by Reba McEntire, "Today for You, Tomorrow for Me" from Rent, "I Got Life" from Hair. My sample: "Spin Spin Sugar" by Sneaker Pimps, "Ain't Talkin' bout Love" by Van Halen, "The Nail will Burn" by Loop, "Can U Dig It?" by Pop Will Eat Itself, "Time after Time" by Miles Davis. I eventually settled into a jazz theme with Miles/Coltrane/Brubeck/Baker, while she countered with modern country and rock opera tunes. I wasn't even trying to win at the time, but the Doobie Brothers' jazzy "Living on the Fault Line" caught her off guard (she had no idea it was the Doobie Brothers, and couldn't wrap her head around it being them,) so I got my revenge. I think I've won four music wars now. To her, I don't know, 20? Go teamfreak16! Thanks, Doobie Brothers!
