Oh how i miss him.

Do you ever have those days where you just sit there and think of someone that is no longer with us.. well that is me today.. I'm thinking of my daddy, his birthday is tomorrow and he would of been 69.. I lost him in 2013 and it seems like it was yesterday.. he was to young to leave.. but I'm glad that he is no longer in pain and I know one day I will see him again.

So sorry for your loss. Holiday and birthdays are always so difficult. I know how you feel. I think of my mom and dad all the time and it makes me so sad.

@hillhjill you will always miss him. My dad has been gone almost 17 years and I miss him so much. I still think of him every day. Mom was been gone 3 years now. It is difficult.

@Happy2BeMe I will always miss him I was a daddys girl and people tell me it will get better with time and yes in away they are right but then again I feel like I could just break down a cry all night long.

Yes it is very hard when the holidays get close.. it is easier than a couple of years ago but I still miss him.. and I'm sorry for your loss as well.

Almost once a week. Three different people. My cousin, my grandfather and my great grandmother.

@hillhjill my cousin passed 4/26/2005 my great grandma passed 4/30/2006 and my grandfather passed 5/16/2010. So those few week between end of april and middle of march are hard

I absolutely love his smile @hillhjill . I'm so sorry you lost your Dad. I lost my Mom in 2007 and even though that's been 10 years ago, I miss her every day.

I am sorry for the loss of your dad it is so hard when a loved one's birthday comes as it's so hard when there not here to cerebrate with us so sad

@chrissbergstrom he was a very good and hard working man.. I swear he never slept he worked 3 jobs to try to keep my mom happy.. but he was so kind to people and he would give you his last dollar if you needed it.

@hillhjill Sorry for your tragic loss. But, I like the positive way in which you've stated that you're glad he is no longer in pain & wish to see him one day. Time would heal all wounds, but I know the feeling of losing a loved one, the sad pain which can't be described in words. :(

Thank you..Yes it is hard to describe how it feels and yes I am happy that he is no more pain because he went through so much at the end and now he can be at peace.

Sorry for the loss of your daddy. A person can get everything in life but not parents again! Happy birthday to your dad!
