These are the days of our lives. I am sure many of you have heard those and even have said it a time or two. If you are like me and watched this Soap opera a time or two or quite a few seasons this at one time, was a reason to love A Soap opera to where it hurts to miss a show.
But in reality speaking, what about the, days of your life? Do you feel like you are in control and you've got this or are you wishing you could start over?
Many times I would love to be able to give a Do Over but the best I would be who I am today. Can yo u relate?

Think that we all would like to repeat some parts of our lives and make them much much better.
Seeing as no one can change the past we have to make do with what there is now and live much better right now in the present if we can.

Yes, I agree learning to work on now and make it better for our future is a Great thing. The main one for me is finding that.

@lovinangelsinstead21 That is for sure, especially what they are trying to teach anymore.

They reckon that what we are thinking now right now moulds our future.
Not altogether sure about that as it does not sound very forgiving does it?

But how far back do I go for my re-do? Do I go back as far as Grade 7 and go to the junior high directly behind my home instead of the one a bus ride away with "enrichment" courses? Or all the way back to when I was hatched and be the boy everyone thought I was going to be? Maybe just go to college a year earlier and not meet my future husband?
Or maybe go back to January 18th of this year and staying at Willow's Place with my friend instead of going on my own way home and ending up in a face-plant on the sidewalk? Yeah, that'd be a good choice.

Even though going back in time really sounds like a great idea a lot of the time, we cannot do that, so we have to learn to move forward and always make the Best out of what we have.

@KrauseHome True, but I still would like a do-over for Jan. 18.

"This is Macdonald Carey, and these are the days of our lives." No, never saw the soap.
Since I've started meditating I'm getting less and less concerned over what I don't really have any control over. I mean, I owed nearly $1,500 in taxes. I could have thrown a hissy fit and screamed, but at the end of the day I still owed the money. So, I gave 'em my credit card number and went on.
I don't want to be in control. I'd rather let God be in control.

For the most part, so am I. Just some things that could have been better but over all I feel many have helped shape me into who I am.

I think it is human nature to reflect back and wish one could do it all over again to avoid mistakes. It's about hindsight.

Yes, if we could always see ahead of some of the choices we have made in our life then we would not be who we are today because we would not have had to overcome many trials.

Yes, there are many things I'd like to do over if I had the chance. Never watched Days of Our Lives but am a big fan of the Young and the Restless.

That is always a Great way to look at things. I know even with all I am going thru I try to always tell myself God is in control and we will get thru this even if right now it seems impossible.
