I am using the phone of my big brother to check on this site, Face Book, and play candy crush. I use my own phone to text my colleagues f there is something new to share. This afternoon, while I was here commenting on some discussions, my brother’s phone made the ‘message on chat’ sound so I immediately opened the phone. I was quite surprised to read my colleague GFC, who is in Oman, about the demise of the mother of our colleague here. I registered in a promotion of a cellular network here for unlimited texts and 60 minutes call, and I called 3 of my colleagues to relay the news to them. GFC recommended me to be the one to hold the finances they will send for our colleague. I suggested too that we will go on Tuesday at the funeral home; but we will buy some goods and flowers for those who will sympathize to the bereaved family. Our colleagues working abroad- GFC, JRD, and JRM- asked my phone numbers so they will communicate when they will send the money. A colleague however suggested her BDO bank account, to which I responded positively. The demise of the mother of FCT was unexpected. Her father was in ICU last March and we thought it was her father who died. Her mother was brought to the hospital last night, and died this early morning. FCT was so sorry because she neglected her mother due to her father’s sickness. (Both of her parents were not talking to each other for several years now). She thought her mother was jealous because FCT attended to her father more than her. When I talked to her, she was crying continuously, and I felt emphatic. “Tropang frenship” or our friendship troop is so binding together. Rest in eternal peace, Mrs. Fely CT.

yes. i collected P5k from a colleague in Kuwait. her son gave it to me yesterday while we were having our lunch in a restaurant. i will go to the city later to get the P4K sent by another colleague from USA FCT is not the only child, but her brother is also sick of chronic kidney disease and he needs to undergo hemodialysis twice a month, i think.

I feel sad and sorry that this happened to your Friends. I wonder what the other members of the family were reacting to this situation.

It must have been hard for her to attend to both of them. It cannot be helped and she did the best she could at the time. I did not see this before when it happened so i still want to express that I am sorry for her loss. How is her father doing?

her father is also so sickly that he is often confined in the hospital where my colleague is working.

We should make the most of every day, keep in touch with family and close friends , otherwise, some day we will find ourselves living with regret. My condolences to the bereaved family.
