The Cleveland Cavaliers who are the defending National Basketball Association basketball champions are wondering why they lost a basketball game versus the Atlanta Hawks who rested four of their starters n Friday evening at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The Cavaliers lost to the Hawks by a final score of 114-100. To add insult to injury, point guard Kyrie Irving left knee injury returned to limit his playing time during the game.
Maybe the Cavaliers basketball team after they defeated the Boston Celtics on Wednesday evening in Boston by a final score of 114-91 to solidify their chances of getting the number one seed in the Eastern Conference with three games to go in the regular basketball season took the Hawks too lightly.
Cavaliers coach Ty Lue has gone on record that he will not rest his starters in the remaining regular season games until they have clinched the number one seed. Good luck with that coach.

I do not see the Cavs repeating as champs this year.

It will likely be either the Spurs or Warriors since both coaches hate President Trump.

Demotivated? They create a monster team and play like babies. I have no interest to players like them.

That is true. The players are playing they are afraid to get hurt playing a kids game. That turns me off.

@Deepizzaguy They should bring back the intensity like before. Today many players play like a celebrity. Too much flop.
