I told you so Gregg Popovich

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popvich will not rest his starters for the remaining two games of the 2016-17 regular basketball season. The Spurs on Saturday evening lost to the Los Angeles Clippers by a final score of 98-87. Even though the Spurs are in second place in the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association and resting his starters would be a great idea, Popovich is very angry that his players did not make an effort to beat the Clippers on Saturday evening. I hate to be one to tell Gregg how to coach his basketball team, but "I told you so" that ripping the fans off by resting your starters during the regular season would come back to haunt you. The Sours will take on the Portland Trail Blazers and the Utah Jazz in the final two games of the regular season before the playoffs begin on Saturday.

He can't afford to rest because Portland and Utah are tough customers out to make a point.

Not to mention that Commissioner Adam Silver could fine his team for resting his players.
