The new Wonder Woman movie that is expected to be released in theaters on June 2, 2017. The predictions are that the movie will open with a box office draw of about $80 million dollars at the opening three day period. Okay so Wonder Woman is more popular than Wordgirl but she is not exactly an iconic heroine compared to Superman, Batman or the Crimson Grasshopper. That could change when the Warner Brothers studio start promoting the movie to attract her fan base. As for me, I will settle for the Lynda Carter version on television since she was kind, gentle and she did not use a sword and shield as a weapon like the updated version.

I am confident with Gal Gadot because she does her own stunts. She is a former Israeli soldier who fought on war so those dangerous stunts are nothing to her.

@CaptAlbertWhisker The negative publicity before the movie came out helped the interest from her fans to support the movie.

Gal and Lynda are former beauty queens that you do not mess with. The film from the trailers looks great.

Not to mention Lynda Carter was....well...she impressed adolescent boys and men. Tough to fill her Wonder Woman suit.

What I liked about Lynda playing Wonder Woman was that was knocked down in battle and go back on her feet later on to beat her foes in battle using her wits and fists.

I think those of us who remember Linda Carter's Wonder Woman will have a hard time accepting the new version, but I think the modern generation will flock to it.

That is my point that I am 55 years of age and I enjoyed the kind and gentle heroes and not the mean anti heroes being shoved my throat.
