Too many remakes in Telugu film industry! Disappointing that no native scripts are coming up

Most of the senior heroes in Telugu film industry are remaking hit movies from other languages or stories inspired from Hollywood. Chiranjeevi - Kahidi 150 - remade from katti tamil Dhruva - Ram charan - remade from Tamil movie Venkatesh - guru - remade from Sala Khadoos hindi Nagarjuna - oopiri inspired from an english movie. Pawan kalyan - kaatamarayudu - remake from Tamil movie of Ajith. Also important to note that these did not do great in telugu. Some were average and some flopped. May be Saatakarni and Bahubali are the exceptions What do you think is the reason behind too many remakes? Is it that they heroes are playing safe? or is it lack of good scripts from the writers?

@vijay_2016 When our film industry revolves around few families valuing relationship above professionalism, mixing caste & politics, then this is bound to happen. However there are some talented small film makers who did wonders with minimal budget films (Pellichoopulu)

Yes it is only upcoming heroes like Nani and others who are trying direct movies. I think pellichoopulu received a national award. I enjoyed that movie thoroughly. Ghazi is also good movie

@Mass_Sonu somehow I felt this should be discussed, we had a discussion at office over tea. I thought definitely Telugu people in Mylot would react
