This day was our schedule to go to the wake of the mother of our colleague. I was the earliest again so I waited for the rest. We were five; 3 bought some juices in tetrapack, candies, and biscuits, while I and another one went to buy mass card and flowers. Since our group is "troop of friends " (tropang prenship ), I requested the lady where the deceased is enrolled for prayers, and the flowers as well, to print the name of our group in the card and in the ribbon. It was better that way rather than all our names will be printed.

indeed it is, because we are a group and it separates us from the other employees of the school where we are employed

So sorry for the loss of the family member of one of your colleagues. Prayers for the family. I think your idea was a good one. Much easier than printing individual names.

@ridingbet I agree because the family will know exactly who it is from.

yes, because if all our names should be printed, then the ribbon should be very long, not balanced with the flower arrangement anymore.

In time of bereavement, friends help us cope with grief. Acts of kindness and sympathy are greatly appreciated by the family of the departed love one.

that is absolutely true. 2 of my colleagues abroad also wished to send me the money(abuloy) but i said they should give to the husband of a colleague, who will go to the wake.

This is a very nice arrangement and a good way to have it printed rather then all names.

the intermwent will be on Tuesday, and my troop of friends may attend the mass but not go to the final resting place because it will be hot in that time (high noon).
