There are many countries all over the world which are democratic and some on the other hand follows monarchy. Both have their own pros and cons but eventually it is the one who leads ahead of the other. I think democracy is more preferred because of the fact that the citizens are given the ultimate power and rights to elect and decide the responsible and the deserving candidate to govern the country for the betterment. What do you think guys?

I think you are missing that this isn't an 'either or' question. A constitutional monarchy such as the UK is also a democracy. Personally I prefer to have our Queen as head of state rather than to elect a moron who wants to bomb everybody and thinks that global warming is fake news.

This question is not asked in accordance of UK only, there are many other countries which only follows democracy or monarchy. Haha! Why do some idiots even stand in elections..Yes, honorable Queen is way beyond better!

@cabhay Yes, but there are also many other constitutional monarchies around the world. Relatively few monarchies are power-wielding these days.

@boiboing It depends upon the monarch and the citizens of those countries...there are also few cases in which dictators or monarchs have proven to be a curse for the coutnry. (No offense)

Democracy - however part of my suspects that the choices are controlled

But atleast in democracy people are given right to choose and not like in monarchy where the ultimate decision lies in the hand of one only.

I think democracy is better than monarchy. Democracy is rule of the people, by the people and for the people.
