When your coffee gets to room temperature, do you drink it anyway?

I have. I know of some people who carry a thermos around at work every day, full of hot coffee, black in fact. No sugar, no cream. They don't worry about it getting cold cause they have it in an insulated container. But for those of us who keep a cup at the desk by our PC, well, it's like this, I get to typing stuff online and reading and before too long I realize I have a half cup remaining and it's become room temperature. Yuck. But I do still drink it, so as not to waste that very needed pick me up drink. Do you run to the microwave to heat it up or do you put it on ice and drink it cold?

I love my coffee a lot. I also drink it several different ways even if its cold...ice coffees are great.

I do as well. But when I drink it hot, it forces me to drink it slowly, not gulp it down so it lasts longer.

@lookatdesktop I agree it does last longer that way. That's just like me with a milk shake it doesn't stand a chance. I do gulp it lol

@Brittnyrose , Very much like me. I get brain freeze drinking those smoothies they sell at Sonic.

@lookatdesktop I'd drink it anyway, no re-heating, same like you. But, most of those around me, would not like that.

You got it. When I pay good money for coffee and spend the time to prepare a pot of it, I certainly don't want it to go to waste. Does that make me a red neck or just practical?

@Mass_Sonu and that reminds me, I have to make myself a fresh cup ASAP!

@lookatdesktop That makes you, just like me, someone who's practical, and would love their coffee anyway!

I have, but I don't like it as much. I will generally re heat if it gets too cold. I have one of those gizmos you can put your coffee on to keep it warm..kind of like a mini hot plate but it isn't plugged in right now.

Well, you may have it a bit cooler but it's all good.

I prefer my coffee very hot, so yes I rewarm it in the microwave.

I can´t drink the coffee when it´s fresh, I let it cool a minute or two. I have found out that flavored coffee tastes better if it is little cooler

Yes, and either adding whipping cream to it or vanilla ice cream on the very top, or with ice is very very good.

I have no problem with cold coffee. Most of the time it won't have a chance to cold down. But if it did, I still drink it anyway.

This same thing happens to me. I often forget about the coffee or the tea after one or two sips I keep it, and then forget about it completely, and then perhaps again I remember about it say after two hours, then mostly i don't drink it. Rather I would ask someone to give another in the next hours. These days I have a sister like in office who now makes me sit in front of her and drink the full coffee before I could go on with some other work. Lol
