Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook will not be playing in the next to last regular season game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday due to get this...he needs his rest.
Poor Minnesota Timberwolves fans who are going to be shortchanged by the powers that be who claim they care for the paying customer by having Westbrook sit out a meaningless game.
The Thunder have made the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs as a sixth seed so Thunder coach Billy Donovan has decided to sit out Westbrook for tonight's game.
Timberwolves fans If I were you, I would sit seeing this basketball game in protest against the league claiming that sitting out their star players is made for your benefit.
It is not clear if Westbrook will sit out the regular season finale against the Denver Nuggets in a game that will be played in Oklahoma City Oklahoma later this week.
I can see the media saying that the star players can afford to sit out regular season games because they have so money they can buy you a smile.

Does anyone go to Wolves games anyway? In Westbrook's case, I can see the need for rest as he has been a one man triple double for the season and constantly on the floor.

That is true. Why risk Westbrook getting injured in a meaningless game anyway?
