Crow is considered very bad by many Astrologer which is actually not correct. Crow is the seat of the Lord Saturn. Saturn actually teaches the meaning of life and makes one lead a perfect life with great experiences. Lord Saturn's seat is Crow.
Crows are very intelligent. They got bad reputation of damaging the crops. The brain to body ratio of a crow will be equal to that of a chimpanzee. This is one of the most disliked bird in view of the many superstitions associated with it. First it is a bird having pure black color. 2. It is the seat of Saturn (ill luck), 3. It is mostly found in Graveyards eating whatever is available 4. It can not see properly
But, one should know that it is the high intelligence with terrific memory. It can identify the food it has kept some two or three back and can take it out from that place. Their communication skills will be amazing. A group of crows is called a Murder. There are many varieties in Crows. Except in in South of S.America this can be found in almost all countries with different names like pica, nutcrackers, magpies etc.,
They store food in caches, in trees, or on the ground. Crow is Omnivorous.
But for Hindus, this is a sacred bird without which no ceremony take place especially they invite a Crow offering Pinda Pradhan in Annual death ceremonies.
According to Hinduism, this is a connecting link between the dead and living people. The dead take their food offered in annual ceremonies through a crow. This can be trained to communicate with human beings.
According to the sayings, a group of crows sitting on rooftop indicates the death of somebody in the house.
