I know you've seen that horrible event that happened in United Flight days ago and it became viral because he got violently dragged off as he screams in pain.
Then for some he escaped and saying "He wants to go home and kill me repeatedly" But there was a video that he was in phone with the airline staff saying he won't give up his seat and threaten to sue.
Unfortunately, This wasn't the first time an airline get's rid of their passengers. If it's not overbooking. There was an old lady who got removed because she was sitting to a trump supporter and she ranted. Then another who is a Vietnam War Veteran got removed because his service dog was next to him. Then a woman was also dragged a passenger because she broke check in protocol.
I'm sure they were good reasons why people were removed from the plane. But this one was just horrible.
Dr. David Dao, 69, the doctor who was dragged off a United Airlines flight Sunday, was filmed moments before the altercation, apparently on the phone with th...

When there's an overloading of a passenger because plane staff is suddenly needed to take that flight, in Cebu Pacific, they offer passengers free hotel accommodations plus a roundtrip ticket with pocket money to those who who want to give up their seats.

Hello @toniganzon Well, I think they just offered 800$ but not sure what were the other amenities included. I feel bad for this person being dragged down. I wonder if any one from Cebu Pacific had similar problems as this.

We flew United Airlines when we went to Hawaii. On our return flight home, we had a stop over in Chicago. We had to change planes. The plane ended out not arriving to the gate so they had to get another plane to come over. They then realized they were overbooks. They offered anyone to come forward who was willing to take a later flight and receive an $800 voucher. The reason WE didn't do it was because we had already been flying for 8.5 hours and had another 3+ to go before reaching home. We also had our daughters waiting for us at the Toronto airport. Why would anyone who is travelling all night want to stop over and then take a later flight? There were a couple of people who came forward, a young guy as I remember, and he was travelling alone. But I want to point out that this all took place BEFORE the plane boarded. This was also almost 5 years ago. My, times have changed. I am enraged at the audacity of people who think they are "in charge" and have the right to do whatever they want to follow their own rules.

@Letranknight2015 In the case that happened this week, the flight wasn't actually overbooked. They needed to get 4 employees to another airport and wanted paying customers to give up their seat to do exactly what we were asked to do - take a later flight and also receive vouchers for a future flight.
In our case, well, if they ended out using a plane that had fewer seats than the plane that was originally assigned that flight, I could see them being overbooked unintentionally. But like I said, in our case this was done BEFORE boarding, which should have been the case in this recent incident. I'm surprised the customer who was dragged out didn't pull the race card.

Hello @patgalca Did you know that it was an overbooked flight? I didn't know this since I haven't been on a plane. I guess there's still a possibility now that you might get kick out even if your on the plane.

@patgalca Maybe it really had something to do with his past. Probably he feels karma is reach to him because of his past crimes.,

I heard that this flight actually was not overbooked. At that time all the passengers were on board but somewhat four United Airlines staff wanted to get on board. And therefore they needed four empty seats and this is why this poor man was selected. It just doesn't make a sense to remove a passenger like that. Especially it is not overbooked.

Hello @youless They should have reserved it from the very beginning and they shouldn't have overbooked the flight. This was rude and it has affected them in a very huge way. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time.

Everybody did because they did tried to analyze any possible reason, but the whole video says it all @Nawsheen I think the cops should have been removed from the force.

Perhaps it was the way they approached him and caught him on a bad day.
Another day he might have thought about it and gone and caught another Flight.

Have they been suspended?
Maybe they were not trained properly in how to and how not to in their Job.
In other words the right thing to do and the wrong thing to do.
Hope when they go back to work they will have learned something about decency training or no training.

The video clearly shows they were harassing him @Nawsheen because they chose four random people. I'm glad those cops were suspended. but they should have been removed from the force.

I read this too and it is horrible! Why was he selected, he's a paying member. The cops were wrongful to do that to him!

Hello @PatZAnthony Well, they didn't handle it the way they supposed to so it's now out there and the airline is paying for it dearly.

i read some news clips on FB and it is noted that the airline found evidence that the doctor is a criminal, but then, there is a follow-up news indicating that the airport personnel did not check the veracity of the news because the victim's name is similar to a criminal's name. the doctor is not the same person as what the airline personnel thought as a criminal

It's very horrible and there is no excuse but the media is trying to spin it bringing up some of the doctors past trying to make him seem like a bad person, but the fact is his business decisions don't play into this, this was in humans treatment by an airline.

Hello @chrissbergstrom I don't know why they even bother bringing up his past when that time was even more important. He was chose on random and I feel sad this happened to him.
