Teething - 6 month old baby

April 13, 2017 6:38pm CST
Aloha. My baby already has 6 teeth showing and they are driving him completely nuts. If there is any natural ways to help him, I would love to hear ideas! I'm a first time mom and love him to pieces!

Check online for natural relief products. My g'mother says a wet cloth for baby to chew is a good idea, but wonder if it is.

Thanks! I've tried a frozen cloth, but I think it is too hard and will try just a wet one!

@nalomeli6 Would love to know if this works. It seems just having something to chew helps some babies get relief.

I used to put a damp cloth in the freezer and let my boys chew on it. I also got some pieces of leather, figuring if puppies liked to chew on leather shoes it would work with babies. They loved those leather pieces! If you have a rubber spatula and can remove the rubber part from the handle that will work, too. Aren't they precious?! I remember my first and I was totally in love with him--still am! I had two and if you have another you will love him/her just as much.

Give your boy something to chew. In the past I remember I bought a special biscuits for babies who growing teeth. These biscuits are big and hard. It can let the babies keep chewing and perhaps it is a kind of releasing uncomfortable feelings.

Your baby can have some teethers available in the pharmacy. They can even give you some advice.

Oh wow. First and foremost Congratulations to you and your family for your first baby. Teething is a very irritating time for babies. You can give your baby cooled liquid filled teethers. They are real life savers. Moreover you can also give your baby bio combination 21. That's a homeopathic medicine especially formulated for Teething. Though I am not sure if you can get it at your place. You can ask the chemist for the formula calcarea phosphoricum. Hope you are able to find it there. All the best.
