Orlando Magic Chief Executive Officer Alex Martins has fired his general manager Rob Hennigan and his assistant general manager Matt Lloyd on Thursday. Hennigan had been the general manager of the Magic since 2012. Under his leadership the Magic did not make it to the playoffs. Magic assistant general manager Matt Lloyd will be the interim general manager of the Magic. The last time the Magic qualified to make the playoffs was in the 2011-2012 basketball season. As the old saying goes "Here we go again." As the Magic will attempt to rebuild the team with a new general manager after Hennigan was fired on Thursday.

Orlando has been in the tank ever since Howard and Van Gundy left.

I know what you mean, the Magic basketball team has been a shell of themselves after the departure of Howard and Van Gundy. Time for another rebuilding project.
