Waiting for somebody really sucks

I am waiting for the builder to come. He promised yesterday that he would come in the morning. Today morning at 7.30 he again phoned me informing that he would start at 9.30 and come by 10.30.
I am waiting for him. He is my boss for today now. I have to wait which is inevitable because he is the person who is getting my house constructed. He is bringing my house plan. I have to verify and see whether it is as per my instructions and taste. Then I have to go to House Designers and see if he had anything to design inside or outside of the construction. The types of windows and the doors etc., have to be discussed and I will ask him to show the design in a 3D plan. After finalizing the plan and handover it to the builder to act accordingly.
So far he has not turned up. Now it is 5 to 11. Still how long should I wait It is really a big problem to wait for somebody at home that too having some important work which is also time bound in nature.

I hate that the most. When you are building something and the other party is so unprofessional. I expect workers to be on time and to work an honest day's work. But that is not the reality. Here in Trinidad, we experience the same problem with workers.
I like the design of your plan. You are so lucky to actually have a model of your proposed house.I am impressed. We don't have that kind of service here. we just stumble along and hope things work out.
