Day 218
Proverbs 20:26
Proverbs 20:26 A wise king scatters the wicked, and brings the wheel over them.
Everyone likes it when justice is served. No one likes to see criminals go free with only a slap on the wrist, only to cause more trouble for society. Elections are held yearly for judges, and hopefully those elected will do what is necessary to eliminate criminals from our streets and borders.
One of Solomon’s duties was to bring justice to those who opposed the Israelites and those within their borders who sought trouble on its citizens. He used God’s wisdom to know the best means to deal with criminals.
It is our duty to bring justice wherever we see it. We do that by notifying authorities of any wrong doing in our neighborhoods or country. With terrorism running rampant throughout the world, that justice goes as high as the Supreme Court, with those judges appointed by presidents and country leaders to bring justice to those who come against our borders and destroy the lives of our people.
God is the ultimate authority, and will bring justice to all those who come against his people. When God’s people cry out to him for mercy and justice, he will take care of them. God said he would take vengeance on his people and we can count on him to do just that.
Deuteronomy 32:35 To me belongs vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
Hebrews 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
God is judge over mankind. His is the final judgment.
Let’s pray: Father, help me give place to you when justice is needed, not taking vengeance in my hands, but allowing you to take care of me and your people. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.

Our Courts are not courts of JUSTICE...but courts of LAW. I have learn that the hard way. So off course when we feel that justice was not serve we turn to God who sees everything. It is quite a comforting thought to leave things in the hands of God.It has give so much comfort to those hurting.
