In the early morning of 15th Apr 1912 the RMS TITANIC sank after it colliding with an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean. That is about 105 years ago. Unfortunately, the ship did not have enough live saver boats with lead to deaths of over 1500 people making it one of the deadliest maritime disaster. An estimate of 705 people survived after RMS Carpathia arrived at the scene, most of them being women because of a loading protocol for loading ‘women and children first’ in the life savers boat.

@nitirrbb7 True, and it sank miles and miles in the Atlantic ocean. So many people lost their lives.

@nitirrbb7 True, but if they had enough life boats it could have been a different story.

@EMuhungi Certainly but it was destiny and it happened the way it was destined.

Perhaps it would have been a different story if there were enough life boat or saver boat at that time.

so painful it was, I can't believe drowning in a thousand meters deep sea water. Maybe since then, much caution have been made while making these ships--I suppose

@Basilo Yes, it was really painful. Yeah, ship makers have learnt from that mistake.
