I quit so many times.
Started at the age of 14.
I am sorry I ever picked it up.
But now I have been quit for over a year.

@OreoBrownie - My lungs healed - I never smoked, but I had asthma, and it is gone now.. I took the Neolife food supplements and suddenly I could breathe without cortison and other ashma medicine..
My dad did not live so long after having stopped, but he really enjoyed the time after he left smoking..

@buenavida Wow! He smoked a long time. Lungs heal themselves to a certain degree. My lungs healed some but I still have COPD.

@1hopefulman I hadn't thought about helping the planet, but I guess if everyone quit, it would certainly help the planet.

@workathomefan I dream of the day when no one will smoke anymore as I don't see any good from smoking.

@OreoBrownie I know it is not an easy thing to do. I never smoked but my fiance does and he tried a few times but never succeeded.

@hereandthere weight is a problem in my family too. My daughter lost over 100 pounds but she has gained about 30 pounds back.

yes. It is very difficult. I think nobody has prompted you. This must have taken place all of a sudden.

Wow! That's good. You managed to take yourself away from smoking. Some couldn't even resist it.

@workathomefan Yeah That's right. My cousin once tried to quit. He ended up very sick and had to get back to smoking and he's well the next day. weird.
