Screenwriter Lionel Wigram is currently getting ready to write the script for the sequel to the 2015 motion picture "The Man From U N C L E".
The first movie was not exactly a box office smash but the film has drawn interest to make another adventure of Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) which will be directed by Guy Ritchie.
The movie is based on the Sam Rolfe television series called "The Man From U N C L E" (United Network Command for Law and Enforcement) that played on NBC television from 1964-1968.
The television series starred the late Robert Vaughn as Solo and David McCallum as Kuryakin.
I know that it will snow in Lake Charles during the summer when a studio decides to make the motion picture "The Girl From U N C L E" that lasted one season on NBC in 1966.

Just what we need: a sequel to a lame TV show rehash.

I know what you mean. Thank goodness there is no Girl From UNCLE movie in the works.

@JohnRoberts I doubt that movie would be made since it only lasted one season on N B C according to Wikipedia.

I vaguely remember seeing the show on Panamanian television in reruns and the series the Girl From UNCLE as well. I enjoyed both shows.
