With youtube technology, we can watch the event we missed out because we weren't born yet. If we compare the old show with their recent video show, we can see that despite their age-wrinkled faces, they still perform the music well. Take a look at Ian Gillan as an example. He is a singer as well as song writer. You can see how he has changed a lot in his physical appearance but still has the quality voice when he sang "When a blind man cries".

I was very young when Deep Purple was one of the top rock bands. I don't think I like listening to their music.

I was still very young, too. I don't like all their songs. I still listen to some.

That is true of most groups on You Tube where you can see them age through the years.

I quite like them. I respect all kinds of talent. Took me ages to get used to Mick Jagger but in the end after all said and done I have to hand it to him he is still there and with the crowds there around him.
