Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht has announced that his wide receiver Mike Evans, 23, will have his fifth option renewed by the team. Evans will become a free agent at the end of the 2018 National Football League season since his current rookie contract expires at that period of time. Licht intends to have Evans renew a long term contract to remain with the team for a long time since Evans has been one of the best wide receivers on the team. Evans was a first round draft choice of the Buccaneers in the 2014 National Football League Draft out of Texas A & M University.

@snowy22315 As a closet Redskins fan since I have in Lake Charles where they are Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints fan I am afraid that will be a soap opera in Washington in 2017.

He is still cheap. They will let him go when he's a free agent.
