Kansas Jayhawks forward Josh Jackson has decided to leave the basketball team to pursue his dream of playing basketball in the National Basketball Association (NBA) after one season of playing college basketball.
The sports experts are saying that Jackson will be one of the top draft five picks coming out of the college talent pool in 2017.
Jackson leaves the University of Kansas as the Big 12 Conference Newcomer Of The Year.
The Jayhawks ended the 2016-17 college basketball season with a record of 31 wins and five losses.
Their season ended in the 2017 NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament with a loss to Oregon in the Elite Eight.

Josh can always go back to school later on to get his degree after his basketball time ends.
