Theft alarm went off effectively

One day I was back from mountain biking. I drove my jeep to the starting point. I took out my bike and off I went up the hill. It was scenic up there, so I stopped a little while to enjoy breathtaking view of the bay. Then I went down the hill to another direction making a loop back to the starting point. I got home rather late, so I didn't take out the bike from the car. At around 3 a.m I heard loud alarm from my car, so I went out to check. I didn't see any doors opened and my bike was still there. So, I went back to sleep. In the morning, I ran the engine as usual but I found something I didn't notice when I checked the car upon hearing the alarm. It was the glass window on the left side that was broken. The glass wasn't there but somewhere else near the fence of the house. I guessed the burglar was startled when the alarm went off and ran off the glass on his hand and left it when he jumped out the fence. Thank to this very effective deterrent.

Our car alarm goes off really loud also. If anyone leans on it off it goes. Stops them leaning on it I can tell you. Good job you had that alarm in.

Even a little shake caused by another movement nearby may have it go off, too. The sensitivity can be set, I guess.
