Interactings also cone from you writing comments on other peoples posts. Not just from you posting. You have to put the work in, in order to get things.

Then respond to other discussions, you can receive interaction to responses/comments you post as well

Yes, you need to interact yourself and read and comment on others posts. That's how you get to see some action.
