You can compare Magic and Bird since they played in the same era. In fact, they even played against each other in the NCAA before playing against each other again in the NBA.
But if you ask for the best basketball player to ever play, i have one answer - Michael Jordan.

Bird is to sensitive and looks really girly ;D i think so . Magic is good and for his ability to play and center and playmaker is good . But jornad is good in SF and SG so MAgic and Jordan is good and can be added discussion witch of them going to win if they play one on one :D .
