Does Bob Ley have an ax to grind with the New England Patriots?

ESPN host of the sports talk show "Outside The Lines" or I call it "Outside The Liars" had a segment on Wednesday afternoon where Ley scolded the football players, coaches and owner of the New England Patriots Robert Kraft for not postponing their visit to the White House to visit President Donald Trump. Why did Ley scold the Patriots franchise? Because former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez took his own life on Wednesday morning at a prison in Massachusetts. In Ley's view, the Patriots are now public enemy number one since in his view they should not have visited the White House because Hernandez who was spending life in prison without the possibility of parole after he was found guilty of a semi pro football player named Odin Floyd by a jury of his peers in 2015. Come on Bob, you guys at ESPN should stick to sports and not discuss politics since the majority of humanoids want to relax in front of the television and watch grown men and women play a kids game.

I feel about ESPN the same way I feel about Rolling Stone magazine: when they changed their focus to being political they stopped being relevant. Thankfully, with MLB I don't have to watch or even think about ESPN.

I would rather Match Game '77 when ESPN Outside The Liars is on since a game show hosted by Gene Rayburn is funnier than watching Bob Ley scold the Patriots.

@Deepizzaguy -- Match Game you say? Okay. "Bob Ley, Stephen A. Smith, and most of the blabbermouths on ESPN are full of blank."

That's what it is all about: politics. The Pats are hated because of a liking to Trump.

It figures since in the mad world of ESPN sports reporting, they cannot get away from pushing the political button on their shows despite the claims from their bosses to stop discussing it.
