I was searching for ways to earn money doing various tasks, including posting on forums, and My Lot was mentioned favorably. I thought the site sounded familiar. I registered and my email was already in use. After I was emailed my info I remembered creating this account years ago when I first started my work at home journey. If the me of then (2007) could see the me of me today, 10 years later, she'd be proud. I'm proud of the woman I am today- despite the bad decisions I've made throughout the years. Is the you of 10 years ago proud of the you of today? What can you do to make the you of today proud of the you of 2027?

You joined in May 2009 and this is your second post? I guess you didn't care for the site back then?

@JJ It was a combination of too slow earnings and becoming overwhelmed with life events. The recent reviews of the site were (for the most part) favorable so I'm hoping for better results. I'll definitely be making many more posts this time around.

@opinionated1 The way the 'Lot works these days is you earn for interaction you receive from other users...needless to say, they can't interact if you don't give them anything to interact with...so hopefully I'll see you out and about here.

@JolietJake Thanks for the tip! You'll absolutely be seeing me around- not only for financial gain but also for research purposes and personal knowledge gain. Sometimes it helps to get perspectives of people you don't know because those opinions are more likely to be unbiased and consequently advantageous.

Our bad decisions or mistakes help us learn and make us who we are now. I am proud of who I have become. Ten years ago I wasn't proud of who I was but I'm glad I am very different now. =)

@Jennifer I totally understand!! Congrats on being able to be proud of who you are now; many are not able to say the same and, unfortunately, aren't interested in doing anything differently to become proud.
