Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Justin Turner back in the starting lineup on Friday

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner who was hit in the finger by a pitch thrown by Colorado Rockies left handed pitcher Kyle Freeland on Tuesday will return to the starting lineup on Friday. The Arizona Diamondacks will be hosting the Dodgers at Chase Field in Phoenix Arizona for a three game series that starts this weekend. The results of the X ray on the injured finger of Turner did not reveal any broken bones. Turner did not play in the Dodgers game on Wednesday due to his injury that did not require any time on the disabled list.

Dodger fans breathed a sign of relief. I saw him getting hit and it looked bad at the time.
