A new kind of goal...

I have in the past made discussions both about goals for earning here on myLot and about what plans you may have for said earnings. Its true that many of us don't usually get more than five or six bucks a month from the time spent here. Which is fine, its just nice to have interaction, friends and to be able to learn something new everyday. The payments are just a cherry on top. That being said, I was thinking earlier today- after I saw where my earnings were for the month and decided that instead of making a monetary goal of $x.xx per month I have set a little bit of a different goal. I subscribe to Scribd. Which is a ebook app. The subscription fee is $8.99 per month, which gives me three ebook credits and one audiobooks download credit a month. I pay for my subscription out of PayPal. So it just made sense for my goal to be to make my Scribd payment each month out of my mylot earnings. So I guess it is a monetary goal, kind of. That means my goal every month will be to cover my monthly subscription fee, and anything on top of that is just icing on the cake as they say. With a payment from another website and last months earnings from mylot I have the amount for May's subscription fee in PayPal already, so it'll come out automatically on my renewal date of the 25th. As for May, my earnings are good so far this month and as of earlier today I have surpassed the subscription fee already, so anything I earn from now until the end of the month will be extra. Id like to say it will go to something exciting, but it will either get spent on a book or DVD from ebay or will just sit in PayPal and be added to to next months earnings.

I haven't set any goals for myself yet, but I think my goal will be to make $5 each month so I get the payout every month.

I have three goals here. The first is to make it to the $5 a month. The second is to get 50cents a day or more. And the third is to round to the next dollar every other day. Its worked so far as im near 18. Glad you made a goal that works for you.

It is very worthwhile to set goals.
