*They should blur it.

Because I felt the site was not so active today, I thought of checking my FB wall and the news feeds therein. I had some laughs about the photo bombing of cats, with their unusual and funny faces; about a dog that bid goodbye to her master who was at the deathbed; about the lovers and how they expose their scandalous love affairs (one boy wanted his girlfriend to abort their baby, until a word war happened); and lastly, about the killing of rebels in a southern town in Bohol. The pictures of the dead rebels were presented in real setting; i.e., the pictures were not edited or blurred, thus showing their faces. There are 4 pictures of rebels. Although many netizens commented that the rebels’ deaths were justified, I agree to that but not how they were pictured. No blurred editing or eyes covered. I also saw another picture before, this time, of a police car with the police authorities riddled with bullets, all dead, and their faces were not edited/blurred as well. The social media is presenting the news as they happened. Would you prefer to see a dead or killed person on social media as real as they happened, no editing done, in the pictures?

No, I would not like to see that - in fact I am writing a post now about me as a trainee reporter - and news.

Oh yes they must blur it. Because not everyone can see that. But I wanna see the real, whatsoever.. Whether it's a brutal murder or something. It's good to see the reality.

@ShifaLk yes. i am a nurse, so i don't feel icky when i see these gory images. anyway, they are unknown to me. i deal with patients who die in the hospital, and i am used to it now.

I think that it must be very distressing for the relatives to see their loved ones like that. I would prefer that they blur the faces.

i think one reason why the faces of the rebels are viewed to the public is to show us that these rebels may be our neighbors, or distant relatives, and the military did their job of eradicating them. i too, would still prefer to see their faces blurred, because even if they are rebels, they should be given decency.

Never! There is no need for me to see gruesome sights. I never see those things on Facebook.

I prefer to read news rather than seeing them as video I don't want any negativity around me Whenever I was came to know about such accidents , I simply pray the god and encourage myself not to involve or perform any faulty activity and then start again with full strength and good mind setup.. For me flexibility is essential in life
