How do I delete my messages?

I followed a friend back here to see what all has changed. Yikes!!! Didn't take me long to figure things out except deleting old messages. Halppp!!!

You have to open the message and delete each one manually. Hover to the left or right of the messages and you'll see the trash can. Welcome back!

@blackbriar I find navigating the PM feature on here from a mobile is very hard and I often cannot even type a reply to a message. But it could be just because of my basic and non top-of-the-line smartphone.
