Golden State Warriors basketball coach Steve Kerr will not be coaching the basketball team for an indefinite period of time due to a back injury that was operated on in 2016 has come back to place him on the sidelines.
Former Cleveland Cavaliers basketball coach Mike Brown who is on the Warriors coaching staff as an assistant coach will run the team in the absence of Kerr until he returns.
I am not making any of fun of this problem that Kerr has encountered but it is ironic that Kerr rested his starters during some nationally televised games that angered a lot of basketball fans.
Now it is his turn to sit out several basketball games during the playoffs due to his back injury returning to send him to the sidelines.
I can see if the Three Stooges punchline from their video short called "Slippery Silks" when the late Vernon Dent asked the gentlemen who were in charge of making a copy of a Chinese cabinet the question "Are you sure this work will be in competent hands?"
Curly replied "Certainly. We are all incompetent."

I heard GSW doesn't have to worry with Kerr out since they just follow their game plan but once into the finals, you will need a coach to make in game decisions. The usual style won't fly against the big boys.

That is true. It reminds of the movie "Rocky III" (1982) when Rocky Balboa's trainer Mickey suffered a heart attack before Rocky's boxing match against Clubber Lang and Rocky lost the first bout by knockout in the second round.

The first round of the playoffs are pro wrestling squash matches. No big deal happening.

@Plethos Thank you. I used to watch from 1980 through the early 2000s when it became too adult oriented.

Mike Brown has coached in the league and he knows how to work with superstar players on the Warriors. Heck the late Moe Howard (Three Stooges) could coach this team an NBA title.
