Have you ever been dining in a restaurant and had a roach run across your table?

There is nothing like it. My Mother and I were in a Hooter's Restaurant eating our meal. It ran across our table. We told the waitress who was very uninterested. She was more interested in getting a big tip from the table of men across from us. We got the manager, and he offered us a coupon. No, thank you. That Hooter's no longer exists. They acted like they did not know they had them, but I am not buying it.

Wow! What state was this in? I cannot help but wonder where this was. Didn't they know about it?

@TiarasOceanView Wow! I don't know much about that city, but my nationality is part Irish. I am surprised. That must be par for the course there.

It really is. Just remember that wherever the roach has been that lands on your food, that is now a part of you meal. You are ingesting it.

@MsBooklover I'm sure we are exposed to all types of insects and don't even know about it. Who knows what happens in the restaurant kitchens but seeing it on the table is really disturbing.

@tzwrites You are so right about that, and it is scary.

I would have demanded my meal be comped, walked out, and reported them to the health department. But probably not before I got physically ill thinking of what might be in the food!

This happened quite a few years ago. If it had been more recent, I would have handled things differently.

Hmm... interesting situation. I'm not sure if that's happened. Don't remember that happening of late. But I remember this weird incident where my cousin had a cockroach in her drink! Boy, that was something.

Wow, it's hard to even imagine that. It makes me wonder if someone put it there on purpose.
