A come back to mylot

I was once an active participant at mylot for more than a year or two but then I've closed my account for some reason. Now I'm back.
Prior to this, I've heard that mylot did close for some time then made a come back with new features; which I've not been through yet.
Question is, why did mylot close for a certain period of time and is there a possibility that it will again close in the future?

myLot never 'closed'. The site was sold, and the new owners decided to end the earnings program May 2013. Then the site was bought back by some of the old Admin team and started paying again August 2015.

Oh I see, I guess I've got the information wrong.
It's not really good to hear that earnings were also stopped shortly.
Thank you JJ for the info and I'm glad I'm back in the right timing.
There are new features I need to look through, though.

Me too but now we can enjoy discussions openly in mylot and get to know more about people and learn from others point of view.
