Meeting my fiancé

I met my fiancé around June 15th 2010, thanks to a cellphone dating chatsite. Which I honestly joined just to try to get over my ex and losing my daughter. Not to actually date anyone.
Well, after I got a message from him, we talked off and on for I believe a day before we decided to exchang phone numbers. Then we talked off and on through texts every day. Even after I told him all about my ex and my daughter, and having really bad anxiety and depression from it, and about growing up without a father.
God I was so surprised he still wanted to talk to me! And then on the 23rd right after midnight, while I was on my way to the hospital for stomach pains he texted me and asked if I would be his girlfriend.. whatt?!
So I said yes, and then he said he would have done it hours before, but the day before is actually my daughters birthday, and he wanted to keep that day for her and I especially with how tough the day is for me. Ugh, it was so sweet of him to wait.
Then we started talking for hours on the phone during the late night early morning hours. Finding out so much more about the other, and realizing just how much we have in common, and how little we didn't. Which honestly helped our relationship so much.
Then a month and a half later we finally met in person, as he drove the two hours to my house, just to see me for a few hours. And to be honest, I was very shocked when I saw he was him and not someone else! Lol.
After he got here and met my friend who was here with me we went out back to a cheap motel and he got a room. As he's shy and didn't want to hang around my house with my mom and my then friend and her newborn baby who were staying with us, to get to know one another in person. Plus in case we still wanted to fool around like we had talked about before he came.
Then we went to play mini golf, and we were both so nervous that we just kept giggling the whole time. I thought it was cute. So did he.. then we went and had lunch at the pizza joint next door to it. Which was a favorite of both of ours.. and we were both still nervous but not as bad so talked much more.
When we got done eating we went to the room and sat around talking a bit more while we watched some Sponge Bob, lol. Then we nervously decided to have sex and stuff.. a few times. Which was his first times ever, so he was more nervous and shy.. but it was great and I don't regret sleeping with him on our first day hanging out at all.
Then, and this is something I'll never forget.. before we left to come back to my house, we laid back down watching more tv. And he wrapped his arm around me so I blushed and smiled and asked him what exactly he liked about me, and he said that he thinks he's falling in love with me. Which made me smile and blush again and said what. Then I giggled and he said it again and kissed my hand. It was the perfect moment.
Then we went to my house and before he left, he met my mom and held my niece, which was the first kid he had ever held.. and we took some "first date" pictures together in the house and in his car.
He soon left for home after being here for seven long amazing hours.
And even though we've had a ton of ups and downs throughout our years we've obviously continued our long distance relationship up til now. And I'm so thankful that we have and for him.
** Sorry it's a long one. And thank you if you read it.. Hope you enjoyed it.

I have been in a long distance relationship. As long as you both love each other truely then distance doesn't matter. I wish you both all the happiness you desire.

Love is tough to say. More like a desire to just be together.

We have our moments of not being nice to one another. But it happens. I tried to make it a good post.. I've written about it before on another site years ago, and loved the way it was worded, but cant copy it as they closed the sight, and itd be against the rules anyways. So had to just wing it this time. Lol

Yes, of course I have. We are fine with how things are now. Not in any rush to live together or anything
