Mobile Charging

Guys i was charging my samsung galaxy j5 which don't support fast charger. My phone had 5% charge and when the charger was connected to my then Boom! WoW suddenly my mobile now has 85% without turn on the switch. How this is possible? :| :| :| :|

The battery is faulty, once my phone also blasted to 80% when I just plug in the charger to switch on . Thereafter, my battery couldn't last long. Had to change it. I guess the charger had done some damages to the battery

that is very strange, how long have you had this phone? it may be a defect if the battery drains quickly too
