Another Old Poem - With a "P.S." This Time - The Jet Age There once was a small speck of dust that was caught in a jet engine's thrust. As it flew by impellers it yelled, "Howdy fellers - you'll like me much better than rust!" (1974) Here's the "P.S." for you - Run-A-Way To all new pilots, learn this well - It's out of kindness, truths I tell - "Tarmacs are for after stopping, terminal shops, for pre-flight shopping, overheads, for storing gear, and airline food is stuff to fear. After flying - back to ground. Be sure your landing aim is sound. It's best to land the smarter way, (not on a hot-tar Run-A-way.)" (2017) Image: Jet Engine (Pixabay)

@responsiveme - Friend ARM - That "speck of dust" was truly about an aircraft jet engine incident that came about at the big airport in Portland, Maine, USA. There is never any telling what births a rhyme. -Gus-
