I remember someone describing them as sinister. I remember laughing. They were never sinister or ever will be sinister. I guess this goes back to the time when metal was supposed to be devils music and punk as the evil music that encouraged them. People like to make stuff up, but Rancid not so punk rock now we know they not as sinister as we thought. BS, was not about sinister, but calling it how they see it. The fans made them the devils spawn. They were just trying to improve their world and take a few people with them. While calling out the hypocrites. I never really understood the complexity of it all. Most of that has to do with just not trying to hear what they have to say. I will also say I cannot help this because every modern day punk song leads back to this band.
