Drinking water while on meals

Drinking water is important for the following reasons
1. It acts as lubricant and helps in the digestion of food
2. It smoothens stool
3.Ingesting water regularly keeps the body hydrated
But, when it comes to drinking water some people differ in their opinion. Some people say drinking water during meals should be there and the some people say otherwise.
Digestion is a complex process involving many secretions, acids, enzymes etc., If water is taken during meals the Acids flowing through the stomach may get too diluted. But, it is not the case as observed by the Doctors. The pH value of the stomach will not be affected by the consumption of water during meals.
As the pH balance of the stomach is not affected by the consumption of water some people think that one should not drink water during meals for achieving good digestion. But, this is also not true. Eating right food at right time in a proper environment is necessary instead of preferring junk food at the meals time. This is what Doctors say about.
Drinking water is helpful in removing the toxins and stool from the body in a timely manner.Water is also having a sufficient number of nutrients that are sufficient at the time of taking meals.
