Bad news for fans of the Turner Network Television (TNT) show "The Last Ship" as actor Eric Dane will take some time off from his duties on the program since he is battling depression. The show shutting down production will go through Memorial Day. The new season of the show will be airing in the summer of 2017. The show is currently filming season five at the time that Dane asked for a time out to deal with his depression at this time. "The Last Ship" is scheduled to have at five seasons on their contract with the network but it remains to be seen if there will be a season six. Hopefully Dane will have a quick recovery from his battle with depression.
