Bad Santa 2: Biggest Waste of Time Ever

We borrowed Bad Santa 2 from our neighbors over the weekend. I thought it might be a fun one to watch and at least live up to the first one. It wasn't and it didn't. Now I have a pretty broad sense of humor, and find a lot of different things funny- but this this was just over the top. Not only was most of it extremely just over the top raunchy, it wasn't funny. A little raunch I can handle and sometimes even laugh at. But at a certain point it isn't funny anymore. This movie left that point in it's dust. Some of the same characters from the first movie returned. Billy Bob Thorton's character returned as the main character, and the little chubby kid from the first one is now a twenty one year old. What surprised me the most was Kathy Bates playing the roll of Billy Bob Thorton's character's mom. She was a despicable character, with a lot of over the top character defects that are meant to be funny and endearing but they just turn me off of the character and the movie. I definately would not recommend it to anyone. 0.5/5 for this waste of time and cinema flop. I wonder if there is a CinemaSins video for this yet, because if not that dude is missing a heck of a chance.
