I don't like the ending of Casper

Casper was a movie when I was an university student. My friends liked it. But at that time I had no chance to watch it. I think it will be a suitable movie for children. So last night my son and I watched it together. I have to say that it is disappointing to me. Casper is cute but it is not a movie which can make you laugh all the time. And I especially don't like its ending. Casper did a honor thing but he still remains as a ghost. I don't know what his unfinished business yet. And therefore he couldn't go to the heaven.
