Want to change and stick to my nick name only

Guys !!! Bob, how is this name? This is my nickname. People found difficulty in my name and made it short as Siva. Some people were calling me Babu at home and in the friends circle. Other nicknames include Subbu, shiva different from siva, Mani, Sivamani, Shivamani. These are the nicknames I have got. I want to stick to one. The nickname should be quite easy to pronounce, easy to address, easy to write and easy to understand and audiable even in the midst of noise. Can you suggest one good nickname from among the above? or Should I search for another one? After returning from the University somebody in Bengaluru changed it as Bob. Actually, he did not know anything about my nickname Babu. Casually while playing Chess....he said 'YOU ARE PLAYING LIKE BOB" What did he mean by that was BOBBY FISCHER. Do you all have nicknames? Is it not thrilling to be addressed by a nickname?
