Donation to a useful site

For last 2 days i have been looking for a solution to a certain problem in net.Eventually i came across a site which exactly gave me the solution to my problem.I incorporated the solution successfully in my software application.I was very pleased and thankful to him.The blogger at last had left side note saying if the content was useful to you please donate the site to motivate him in his pursuit. I did not donate and slipped out of site only leaving the comment: 'great help'.I am feeling little guilty.What could you have done if were in my place?

It shouldn't be a problem for you to go back to the site and leave a donation. No need to be so mean! If the rôles were reversed, you'd also be glad if someone showed their gratefulness.

No need to feel guilty about that, as its not compulsory to donate
